	NPGA is the national trade association for the U.S. propane/LP-gas industry. NPGA has a membership of over 3,500 companies, including 39 affiliated state and regional associations, representing members in all 50 U.S. states. 50 million Americans choose propane as an energy source for their homes and businesses.
	PGANE helps set a higher standard for clean, cost effective energy by promoting and developing the gas industry, through marketing and research and by supporting training and education for specific skills employed in the propane gas industry. This plays an important part in keeping up-to-date with safety and technology.
	NORA is a collaborative program established by the oilheating industry to strengthen the industry by improving education and training for employees in the industry, providing customers more information, and developing new products for customers. The oilheating industry is a small fragmented industry, and NORA provided the opportunity and ability to work cooperatively for a better and stronger industry. NORA has developed world class education programs, new efficient appliances, and a strong consumer education campaign highlighting the benefits of oilheat and the need to improve efficiency.
	NEFI's representation of the Oilheat industry in Washington is complemented by our new internal Legislative and Regulatory Action Center. Working in concert with our Washington D.C. regulatory consultant and legislative council, this in-house operation significantly enhances industry representation in the nation's capital. The Center boosts NEFI's ability to issue prompt communications to members concerning a variety of pertinent and time-sensitive issues.
	The purpose of the Propane Education & Research Council (Council) is to promote the safe, efficient use of propane as a preferred energy source. With the passing of the Propane Education and Research Act (PERA) in 1996 by Congress, the industry began to conduct a referendum among propane producers and marketers, who overwhelmingly approved the formation of the Council.
	Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) is an international trade association first established in 1980 to represent and promote the interests of the hearth products industry in North America. In 2002, the Hearth Products Association (HPA) merged with the Barbecue Industry Association (BIA) to form HPBA. The association includes manufacturers, retailers, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, service and installation firms, and other companies and individuals - all having business interests in and related to the hearth, patio, and barbecue products industries.
	Dig Safe System, Inc. is a communication network, assisting excavators, contractors and property owners in complying with state law by notifying the appropriate utilities before digging. Dig Safe®, a free service, notifies member companies of proposed excavation projects. In turn, these member utilities respond to the work area and identify the location of underground facilities. Callers are given a permit number as confirmation.
	VFDA is a non-profit organization of fuel marketers and associated companies in the heating business. First established in 1963 as the Vermont Oil Heat Institute, VFDA continues to serve as an advocate and resource for this vital industry. Today, VFDA has over 300 member companies and continues to grow.
