OIL SPRING TUNE-UP
Oil combustion produces an insulating soot on the heat exchanger walls and must be removed. During our Spring Tune Up we remove that soot to assure that your heating system is operating at its maximum efficiency, safety and reliability. A thorough inspection, adjustment and cleaning as described below will save you on fuel consumption and give you peace of mind.

We will:

  • Clean, fire & adjust the burner & ignition system
  • Clean & adjust the electrodes, drawer assembly, burner fan & air intake
  • Replace the nozzle
  • Replace the oil filter element
  • Clean or replace (if needed) the pump strainer
  • Clean the combustion chamber
  • Remove the combustion residue from the heat exchanger, flue pipe & chimney base
  • Check & adjust the draft regulator
  • Oil the circulator & blower motors if needed & check the belt
  • Replace the air filter if needed
  • Check the expansion tank & air control devise & anti freeze level
  • Check all safeties & if you have a draft inducer motor or power venter, we will check them also & oil the motor
  • Measure the operating efficiency
Ask our service technician for your efficiency test results. If the results are less than 80%, ask if it can be increased with minor upgrades. Even if you have a good efficiency, new products on the market are available that will reduce your fuel cost. We supply a variety of these products.
